Bountiful WiFi's Wireless Internet Router Ready for Immediate General Availability6 October 2005
Bountiful WiFi announced today
that the Bountiful Router is ready for general distribution through its
channel and reseller partners. The company also announced that Newonics,
Inc., a Salt Lake City based Contract Electronics Manufacturer (CEM) will
manufacture the Bountiful Router.
"Since we launched the company in July, the demand for the Bountiful
Router has been tremendous," said David Egbert, President and CEO of Bountiful
WiFi. "We've had inquiries from people both domestically and internationally
wanting to buy the router because it solves the biggest problem that wireless
users have -- namely, it provides a coverage area that is equal to their

the Bountiful Router and make it available through our channel and reseller
partners."
The Bountiful Router is a first-of-its-kind wireless router that takes the
802.11 b/g technology to the highest levels by expanding the coverage area by
two to four times and reducing contention in the network. While a typical
router operates at 100 milliwatts, the Bountiful Router operates at just under
1,000 milliwatts, the maximum level allowed by the Federal Communications
Council (FCC).
