Broad System Integrator Interest Seen in AXCESS Int'l RFID

26 October 2006

AXCESS International Inc. (OTC: AXSI), a leading provider of Dual-Active(TM) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) solutions reported today substantial increased interest in its RFID products on the part of business resellers worldwide. The results are a reflection of the enhanced partner development program launched in Q3 2006 which enables systems integrators from disparate backgrounds and worldwide locales to successfully sell, implement, and maintain AXCESS RFID solutions for enterprise operations in multiple industries. AXCESS has signed 34 partners in 14 different countries in Q3 2006 to their Global Business Partnership Program.

Driving the growth are integrators from industries such as security, homeland defense, supply chain, enterprise management, bar-coding and automatic identification who are bumping into the limitations of passive RFID technology and recognizing the need for the unique capabilities of Dual-Active RFID(TM). AXCESS' system provides long range and reliable identification, tracking and protection for personnel, assets, and vehicles. Demand is high domestically and around the world including the Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Middle East regions.

"The integrators are tapping into the demand for visibility, efficiency or security from virtually all industry verticals from healthcare to military in countries around the world," said Amy Novotny, managing editor, Business Integration Journal. "Active Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology that offers the ideal characteristics for integrators to establish, build and protect revenue sources."

"Asset tracking with bar code technology, portables and auto-discovery tools has been proven effective if the items are on the network and don't move around," said Todd Edmundson, president of TVL Corporation, an AXCESS International partner. "With AXCESS RFID, you setup the receivers and low cost control point activators and the assets take care of themselves. The AXCESS solution automatically updates our TVL WiseTrack database, which monitors who has what and where and triggers definable alerts."

AXCESS has released a whitepaper called "Dual-Active RFID: Ideal for the Integrator". It lists the characteristics of dual-active RFID systems which are complementary to the needs of today's high tech systems integrators. It also includes the required skill sets and benefits of having Dual-Active RFID as a solution set. Virtually unlimited options open up for business using the automatic identification capabilities of AXCESS' RFID technology.

"In accordance with our global sales strategy, AXCESS is focused on developing a dedicated team of experienced industry integrators," said Ray Cavanagh, VP of Global Sales for AXCESS. "As members of the AXCESS Global Business Partner Program, channel partners are entitled to a wide range of benefits including marketing and dedicated sales support, training, advanced technical documentation and enhanced support."
