Discover wireless Internet on board VIA trains - Talk with the President of VIA about "A more human way to travel"24 February 2006
The President and Chief Executive Officer of VIA Rail Canada, Mr. Paul Côté, invites the media to attend the official launch of VIA's wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) service. Journalists who are present will be among the first in North America to discover and test this new technology - live - on board a VIA train. They will also learn how this new service will benefit travellers. For this media briefing, Mr. Côté will be accompanied by Mr. Jim Shappell, President, Parsons Transportation Group, one of the world's leading engineering and program management firms and VIA's partner in this exciting venture.
