Ecuity, Boingo Wireless and TeleSym Team to offer a VoIP over Wi-Fi service

20 February 2005

Ecuity, Inc., (OTCBB: ECUI.OB - News), a leading enhanced Voice over Internet communications company serving the small-to-medium business and residential markets, today announced it has teamed with Boingo Wireless, Inc. and TeleSym Inc. to jointly
market a VoIP over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) service.
The partnership will deliver advanced VoWiFi communication capabilities to mobile professionals and businesses worldwide. It allows for the application of Boingo's extensive network of over 13,000 WiFi hotspots to access Ecuity's Smart Call(TM) mobile VoIP service utilizing TeleSym's award-winning SymPhone(TM) software for making top-quality voice calls from mobile computers and Pocket PC-compatible devices anywhere in the world.
The companies announced they are kicking off marketing of the new service platform with a thirty-day free trial of VoWiFi phone service in Boingo hotspots worldwide using TeleSym software and the Ecuity Smart Call VoIP phone service. Terms of the promotion and signup are available at http://www.ecuity.net/boingo.
Dave Budke, Ecuity's head of business development, said, "Ecuity is eager to demonstrate to the many travelers who already carry laptops or Pocket PC(TM) mobile devices how convenient and easy it is to make phone calls to home or any place in the world. With this free-trial we will introduce them to the value of using Ecuity's VoIP phone services and the TeleSym software within Boingo's extensive network of Wi-Fi hotspots in nearly 3,000 cities
located in 38 different countries. We're confident that this service will prove to be a 'must-have' tool for the legions of frequent-travelers requiring mobile connectivity to stay in touch with their world."
"Applications such as VoWiFi are the future of Wi-Fi hotspots because they extend wireless networking's ability to keep people connected and productive wherever they are," said Scott Miller, Boingo director of marketing. "Working with Ecuity and TeleSym gives us a solid and easy-to-use platform to bring these capabilities to small and medium-sized business."
