Liberty Media's TruePosition Further Strengthens Management by Appointing Jeffrey Metzger as Vice President of Product Development16 March 2006
TruePosition, a leading provider of wireless location technologies and solutions and a subsidiary of Liberty Media Corporation, today announced the appointment of Jeffrey Metzger as vice president of product development. In this role, Mr. Metzger will be responsible for the development of TruePosition's location-based services platform, and management applications.
Most recently, Jeff held the position of vice president of engineering for ReefEdge, Inc., where he was responsible for the development of wireless LAN security gateway products. Prior to that, Mr. Metzger was the vice president of research & development at Avaya, Inc., where he was responsible for the engineering and operations teams that developed and supported Core LAN Routers, ATM internetworking, and Converged Telephony Infrastructure.

Jeff holds nine patents and graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.
