Local Resident Wins President's Award For Excellence At Verizon Wireless

Essex County resident Jessica Acosta, operations supervisor at the Verizon Wireless Communications Store on Route 4 in Paramus, has received the company's President's Award for Excellence, which recognizes New York Metro area employees for exceptional teamwork, leadership and outstanding customer service.

Acosta earned the award for diligence and attention to detail that enabled the store team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Acosta also is credited with mentoring a number of individual store employees, guiding them toward their own success and promotion within the company.

She is one of seven Verizon Wireless employees to receive a 2006 President's Award for Excellence.
