Motorola Makes Annual Pilgrimage to Park City for Prestigious Sundance Film Festival22 January 2005
For the eighth consecutive year, Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT - News) will once again be present with its popular Motorola Lodge at the film industry's premiere festival, the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Additionally, Motorola, in collaboration with Cingular Wireless, returns to the Festival as the exclusive cell phone provider with Festival organizers and volunteers maintaining communication via the Motorola V220 cell phone for the 10-day event.
The Motorola Lodge provides attending celebrities, filmmakers and industry executives a warm reprieve to experience Motorola's latest consumer products in a relaxing, fun atmosphere. Located just minutes from Park City's famed Main Street at the Red Stag Lodge, Motorola's Sundance retreat has become a "must-see" destination for Festival-goers.
To compliment its outreach efforts, Motorola is joined with several key brands for this year's Lodge including: video game giant Nintendo will stock the Lodge with the hottest dual-screen portable video game systems, the Nintendo DS, and its newly released games. The Nintendo gaming lounge will also feature games not-yet-released for the Nintendo GameCube. American athletic shoe brand Converse will showcase its full line of shoes including the iconic brands Chuck Taylor & Jack Purcell. Kiehl's Since 1851 will host a suite featuring celebrity hair stylist Kevin Mancuso who will provide styling services for invited guests previewing the new Kiehl's Stylist Series(TM). Additionally, guests can enjoy a massage and receive personal consultations with complimentary Kiehl's products for hair and body. Guests will receive the latest in high-end ski and apres ski wear from Escada Sport, as well as ultra-flattering jeans from Rock & Republic's progressive denim line, inspired by Rock & Roll. Rock & Republic have also designed a light-weight thermal exclusively for guests of the Motorola Lodge.
