New Frontier Media Launches Wireless Product In United States10 August 2005
New Frontier Media, Inc, a leader in the electronic
distribution of adult entertainment, today announced the launch of its TEN
branded wireless product in the United States, bringing its aggregate
distribution to over 160 million users.
Nearly 9 million U.S. customers can now access TEN's content directly from
the menu of their wireless handsets. Charges for TEN's content are integrated
into the user's wireless bill making the service as easy to use as video-on-
demand. Initially, TEN will be providing non-explicit, "swimsuit" style
content for distribution through U.S. carriers.
Additionally, anyone with a wireless, web-enabled phone can now access
TEN's more explicit content by navigating to http://www.ten.com. This content is
billed directly to a consumer via credit card.
Last month TEN announced the launch of its wireless product to more than
120 million users in Europe. By the end of its current fiscal year, the
Company expects new launches in Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and South
America to bring its total distribution to nearly half a billion users
worldwide.
