Real Video Gaming, Diamond I to Join Forces with Other Technology Firms on Global Gaming Platform and Verizon Wireless Extends Rollout of 3G Network

(Nasdaq:NIHD) late Thursday said it has agreed to extend its supply agreement with Motorola Inc. for iDen handsets and network infrastructure for another five years, or until the end of 2011. iDen combines push-to-talk service, with telephone interconnect, short messaging and internet access. Under the agreement, NII will raise handset commitments delivered by Motorola at competitive prices, while Motorola will continue to invest in development of new iDEN devices and infrastructure. Airspan Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:AIRN), the leading provider of WiMAX systems and solutions and WiMAX pioneer, recently announced it has successfully tested a prototype HiperMAX base station and 16eUSB device at the Mobile WiMAX Plugfest held at the Bechtel labs, in Frederick, Maryland. The WiMAX Forum(TM) plugfest, which focused on interoperability testing between Mobile WiMAX base stations and end-user devices, was a week long event that concluded on Sunday, October 1.
