Secured Services Wins City of Boise and Ada County Contracts27 December 2005
Secured Services Inc. (OTC BB: SSVC), a leader in identity management and secure network access software and services, today announced agreements with the City of Boise and Ada County to deploy the SecuredMobile™ software solution to help secure and manage its wireless public safety network.
The City of Boise is an award-winning city, recognized as one of the best places to live and conduct business. Forbes Magazine rated Boise as a "Best Place for Business and Careers" and Inc. Magazine ranked Boise as the "Second Best City in America to Do Business." The capital and largest city in Idaho, Boise provides a wide range of public safety services, including a police department with 270 police officers. Ada County is the most populous county in Idaho. Public safety communications for all cities in Ada County is provided by the Ada County Sheriff's Office. All public safety agencies in Ada County will use a common wireless public safety network.
"One of our principal challenges is providing our public safety officers with a mobile network that is both secure and also easy to use and administer," said Les Shadduck, communications project manager for Boise and Ada County. "SecuredMobile provided us a solution that is highly secure, using both two factor authentication and robust data encryption. The system is designed to be separately managed and administered across multiple agencies, which is critical. It also provides our public safety officers with a persistent connection as they drive in and out of the range of wireless coverage, automatically re-connecting them to the applications they need to do their job."

"Public safety organizations are a significant market for us since they require the three things that our SecuredMobile solution provides: robust security, ease and flexibility of administration, and persistent connectivity across a large wireless network."
