Texas Instruments Wins VoIP Designs with Top Chinese Telecommunications Brand, TCL

TCL Communications Equipment (Huizhou) Co., Ltd. (TCL) and Texas Instruments Incorporated (NYSE: TXN) (TI)
today announced that the two parties will work jointly to integrate TI's VoIP
and broadband technology into TCL's innovative IP phone solutions. The
cooperation will allow the two companies to utilize each other's strengths in
IP Communications.

With the rapid growth of converged communications, TCL believes the legacy
phone is evolving towards an intelligent terminal. In particular, the strong
growth of data services over the fixed network in recent years is pushing
forward the continuous development of smart terminals. The current

TI's TNETV1050/1055 IP Phone Solution is the industry's leading VoIP
