TRAQ Launches Real Time Usage Alerts to Wireless Subscribers

18 February 2006

TRAQ, the leader in mobile lifecycle management and outsourcing, today announced the launch of Minute TRAQ, a service which provides proactive management of wireless subscribers.

Designed specifically to provide real-time utilization management for telecom administrators and wireless subscribers, Minute TRAQ continually tracks wireless usage and generates alerts via text message and/or e-mail with usage updates. Telecom administrators decide how and when alerts are sent to subscribers. The service is compatible with enterprises with either individual or pooled carrier service plans. The frequency of alerts can be set daily or after subscribers exceed specific usage levels for individual and pool plans: 75%, 80%, 90% and 100%.

Minute TRAQ adds the capability for enterprises to manage subscribers whose usage is trending toward exceeding the number of minutes in their individual wireless rate plan or pool plan and therefore prevents enterprises from experiencing overage fees.

The Minute TRAQ feature set benefits both wireless subscribers and telecom administrators:

For wireless subscribers

* Helps wireless subscribers comply with corporate wireless usage

policies.

* Notifies subscribers when they pass minute usage thresholds and

helps improve behavior to minimize expense. For example, if a

wireless subscriber uses 75% of their minutes in the first half of the

month then they'll receive a notification that they're going to

surpass the number of minutes in their plan at the current usage

level.

For telecom administrators

* Comprehensive reporting on which subscribers have received email

notifications and have exceeded the minutes in their wireless rate

plans.

* The ability to set specific usage thresholds for individual and pool

plans to trigger usage alert notifications.

* Customized notifications that reinforce the corporate cellular policy

and drive positive subscriber behavior.

* The ability to contain wireless costs and eliminate overage fees for

corporate and individual liable subscribers.

"By using Minute TRAQ, enterprises will have proactive utilization management of wireless services for all mobile employees resulting in the greatest cost efficiencies," said Rick Pontin, President and CEO of TRAQ. "TRAQ's Mobile Lifecycle Management suite dramatically reduces the total cost of ownership and mitigates the risks associated with mobile IT assets and services."
