Uniden America Corporation Appoints Rich Tosi as New President20 June 2005
Uniden America Corporation, a leading manufacturer of wireless consumer electronics, today announced the appointment of Rich Tosi, a nine-year company veteran, to serve as its president, effective immediately. Tosi will replace Al Silverberg, who has left the company to pursue a new business venture.
In his role as president, Tosi will be responsible for leading Uniden's consumer electronics business in the United States and work directly with the company's Japan-based Uniden Corporation. Tosi most recently served as Uniden's National Sales Manager and managed relationships with many key retail customers, such as Staples, Best Buy, Sears, Target, QVC and Circuit City. Prior to joining Uniden, Rich represented Uniden's products as an outside sales representative for more than nine years.
