Mindspeed's OpenMind(TM) developer ecosystem is the first program to bring these new applications together with the scalable architecture and deterministic performance of Mindspeed's Comcerto 800 processor. The Comcerto 800 series of devices include data only and VoIP versions scaling up to a T1/E1 density of complex voice channels, such as G.729, G.726 and G.723, in addition to G.711. Mindspeed offers full indemnification and licensing of these codecs. "The VRS product family represents an evolutionary offering in our line of VoIP enabling platforms," said Donald F. "With Viking InterWorks' VRS product family we are able to immediately address the exploding interest in both semi-custom and off-the-shelf Comcerto 800 solutions allowing our customers to get to market quickly." Mindspeed's Comcerto architecture is optimized for Enterprise routing, VPN and VoIP applications. Deterministic performance and Quality of Service (QoS) are guaranteed by the architectural design of the Comcerto series offering wire-speed routing and carrier-class voice quality which has been proven through global deployment. All Comcerto devices are software API and pin compatible, allowing designers to quickly deploy new products while reusing their software and hardware investments.
